I’d just like to share a story about small town America, and how great our country is. A local family had a house fire yesterday evening around 8pm. The garage and everything in it was destroyed and the home suffered major structural damage. Personal possessions are gone, food, clothing, but the family was safe and unharmed. By 11pm temporary housing was setup for this family of six as well as their pets. Food, clothing, bedding, toys, and even food for the pets were brought in. This was miraculous and I am proud to live in this Montana community. This family is hard working and it will be an extreme strain during the upcoming holidays. We have set up a GoFundme page https://www.gofundme.com/hadley-family-home-lost-to-fire and if possible Please donate and Share. I would like to see this family either rebuild or be in another home by Christmas.

I figured out that I could mount my charging station to one of the ceiling boards (pallet salvage). I can do this with shelving around the whole shop without damage to the walls if I change my mind.

Cannon Dry Fit of the Parts

Rustic Coffee Table

Did you know...Ships cannons did not use fuses. A gun crewman would carry a stick with a slow match and go to each cannon when it was ready to fire. This was the original “fire in the hole.” The crewman using it could stand back, away from the rear of the cannon, and apply the burning match to the touch hole, where it it would ignite the gun powder.

I only get a couple hours on the weekends to work on my shop. Insulation is in, walls are up, floors done, bench lighting done, pegboard at bench and pallet ceiling throughout is the next step.

WOW

Started this as a base for a project, almost done and then I saw it. I might make SUNthin else! Ideas?
