2014 Pallet Upcycle Challenge

This is our project for the 2014 Pallet Upcycle Challenge. I made a Christmas Tree from pallet wood. I use pallet wood as much as possible, it's free and folks really like the rustic look. My star and "Merry Christmas" was not made of pallet wood but I think it added a nice touch.

This is a cell phone holder I made using an old Sirius windshield mount that I picked up at a yard sale. These older mounts are all metal and hold up fantastic.

While moving into our new home we found a yardstick. It was above the molding on the basement door. It's in mint condition, but weird it's 48 inches long. The yardstick was given out by a bank. The bank building is now a museum.

The Shop

 The Shop is here, now it's time for flooring, wiring, insulation, and walls. My head is spinning, but it's a start. The building has a loft that will be used for wood storage and organization. 

Scrap Bin Challenge 2014

The shop building is done, and in place. Now electric, flooring, insulation, and walls. Then it's move in time. For now I did this quicky project for the Scrap Bin Challenge 2014. The idea came from Steve Ramsey at Woodworking For Mere Mortals...Thanks once again Steve

My First Post;

This will be a continueing BLOG about my woodworking adventures. I did some woodworking years back but with careers and family woodworking was pushed aside. I primarily made crafts to sell at various shows. Now I've dusted off the old tools and bought some new ones. So it's time to start woodworking again, maybe getting into bigger and better things.
