Did you know...Ships cannons did not use fuses. A gun crewman would carry a stick with a slow match and go to each cannon when it was ready to fire. This was the original “fire in the hole.” The crewman using it could stand back, away from the rear of the cannon, and apply the burning match to the touch hole, where it it would ignite the gun powder.

Mini Cannon Build Part 1

I only get a couple hours on the weekends to work on my shop. Insulation is in, walls are up, floors done, bench lighting done, pegboard at bench and pallet ceiling throughout is the next step.
